Nom Nom: Salt Kitchen + Tasting Bar

I've been dying to go to this restaurant in Kaimuki ever since they've opened last year. The brainchild of the owner of 12th Ave Grill, Salt is the place to go for drinks and pupu style eating. Portions are kept on the smaller side to let you try more dishes-and to complement your cocktails. 

My friend Jammy Jams and I decided to try it out on a Friday night-best to call and make reservations before hand because there is VERY limited seating. 

The best way to start off the night.

Crispy fingerling potatoes with house aioli.

Grilled Madagascar Prawns with Bacon Jam...the Jam is AWESOME!!!!!

Mixed Grill-sausage, ali'i mushroom, maui onions, chimichurri, maui ribeye, shinsato pork loin, smoked beef tongue.
