Nom Nom: Farmer's Markets!

I've been wanting to go to the farmer's market at KCC for a long time, but never had the urge to wake up early on a Saturday morning and face the crowds. So not worth it. But now, I can have a taste of the Saturday market on Tuesday evenings...and with much less of a crowd. Winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Happening every Tuesday night from 4-7pm, situated on the corner of Diamond Head Road and Makapuu Ave, come and check out some excellent local food and produce vendors!

Guava Smoked

Local pork bbq'd over guava wood. SOOOOO ono!

Guava Smoked fried rice!

Flavor Wave's calamansi lime refresher! (a mixture of lime and mandarin oranges).

Flavor Wave's banana lumpia. Great dessert or snack.

Another popular night time Farmer's Market is at the Blaisdell, held every Wednesday from 4-7pm.

Checking out the menu from Pig and the Lady.

Pig and the Lady serves delicious vietnamese food.

Here's the noodle soup-the broth is amazing.

Papaya Salad.

Pulled Pork Ban Mi.

Some cute table decor and Jasmine Tea.

Another new vendor on the premises...Cold Fyyre. They sell some tasty ice cream. You can get it in a waffle cone or an ice cream cookie sandwich. We tried the apple banana...

And the chocolate. Feel free to try any other of their scumptious flavors (like the kona coffee!)

Support local!
I even scored some choi sum for $1. deals!
