Nom Nom: Hiroshi Eurasian Tapas

It's Restaurant Week here in Hawaii, and that just means a good excuse to go out and try something new!
Kelli and I each had a list of restaurants we wanted to try, but we somehow finally managed to narrow it down to Hiroshi.
Located in Restaurant Row, this restaurant features exquisite contemporary Japanese Cuisine and wine pairings by Master Sommelier Chuck Furuya.

We were definitely in for a treat...four course meal for $42!

silver cranes in the lobby area

lanterns glowing in the dining area

complimentary puff rice crackers with wasabi aioli...actually quite addicting!

Asian Cajun Seared Ahi
capellini pasta, Shintaku haricot verts & beurre blanc

Steamed Shinsato Farm Pork Belly
torched brie cheese, julienned Big Island ginger, shiso & adobo sauce

Mrs. Cheng’s Tofu Salad
garlic & ginger chips, takana, yamagobo, Nalo micro greens, homemade takuwan & sesame soy dressing

Contemporary Caesar Salad
Kula baby romaine, anchovy dressing foam, chili flakes & parmesan reggiano

Bacon Wrapped Sous Vide of Kauhiwi Filet Mignon
seasonal vegetables, mashed potato & foie gras ponzu demi

Green Tea “Tiramisu”
Ulupalakua strawberry-azuki mousse

fresh fruits & green tea ice cream
no wine for me, but I had to try their strawberry lemon drop! Yuummm!
